There are two different house types.
The two-person house has a total living area of around 40 m2 across two levels. The cosy relaxation area in front of the fireplace offers views of the green surroundings. On the other side of the room is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, induction hotplate, microwave, French press filter coffee maker, refrigerator and kettle, as well as cooking utensils and crockery.
A spiral staircase leads to the bedroom with a double divan bed and the spacious Finnish sauna.
The four-person house, which has a total living area of around 80 m2, has two separate bedrooms each with a double divan bed. The bathroom with rain shower and the separate toilet are situated on the ground floor. The unusual floor plan offers numerous cosy spots for you to enjoy the views of the natural surroundings from the panorama windows.
You can prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, induction hob, French press filter coffee maker and kettle, as well as cooking utensils and crockery.
Highlights include the fireplace and the Finnish sauna.
Unusual, carefully thought-out floor plans combined with clear, modern design. The exterior of the wooden houses is characterized by a diagonal ridge beam and large panorama windows.
Concrete, wood, and black multiplex panels are the dominant building materials.
The car-free property has an area of around 15,000 m2 and is home to seven houses. Each unit has its own terrace with outdoor seating, meaning that your privacy is guaranteed.
We have planted 1,600 new plants on the property in order to fit in with the untouched nature of the surrounding national park.
The wooden houses are constructed entirely from renewable building materials and meet the stringent requirements of the Energy Saving Ordinance thanks to their modern air source heat pumps combined with underfloor heating. This means the houses consume only a fraction of the energy of conventional buildings.
Bat boxes were installed during construction, and the exterior lighting uses lamps that do not attract insects.
Anti-reflective coatings are used as these are proven to reduce the incidence of birds flying into windows. In order to reduce waste, we use only reusable products in our day-to-day operations.

Burg Vogelsang was constructed during the National Socialist era as an educational centre.
After the Second World War, the buildings and the surrounding forests were used as a training facility by the US and, later, the Belgian military.
After it stopped being used for military training in 2006, the surrounding area was designated as a national park. The aim is to leave the unique wealth of nature in the region to its own devices in order to restore the original ancient woodland.
Sightings of wild animals such as red deer, mouflon and roe deer are not uncommon.
The national park offers numerous free guided tours with rangers, providing fascinating insights into the natural environment.
The property is located on the site of the former Burg Vogelsang. At the time, there were plans for further extensions to the educational centre that never came to fruition. The natural stone wall was constructed to straighten the topography of the site.
If you wish to discover the surrounding area by bicycle, our bike hire partner can bring e-bikes to your holiday home for a fee. Please get in touch with us if you are interested.
An indoor swimming pool and tennis court are located around 700 metres from the property and can be used for a fee. With more than 200 kilometres of hiking routes, the neighbouring national park is the perfect place for a good long walk.
The nearby reservoirs can be discovered by canoe.
